Studio650 Company

Join one of our 4 company teams today! Each year, our company teams participate in 4 Competitions, 3 Team-bonding Events, 2 Conventions, as 1 Big Dance Family!

What is Studio650 Company?

The Studio650 Company Program offers the ultimate dance experience for young performers seeking to dance at a competitive level. We have four companies for ages 4-18: Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior. Each team works year-round to hone their skills and has four opportunities to compete at local competitions. Additionally, our dancers attend two conventions each season to learn from renowned choreographers and industry professionals. We finish off our season with a national dance competition. In the past, locations have been Anaheim, Las Vegas, and San Diego. Alongside dance training, dancers gain leadership skills, learn teamwork, build lasting friendships, and receive guidance from our nutritionist to encourage healthy eating habits and daily exercise. Join us today and become part of our award-winning dance team and the Studio650 family!

More Information About the Team!

AUDITIONS:

Auditions for the 2025–2026 season will take place May 27th–29th! Dancers will audition in their age group and participate in across-the-floor exercises and learn combinations in a variety of styles. They’ll then perform in groups so we can get a full sense of their strengths. After auditions, our faculty carefully places each dancer on the team that will best support their growth and development.

TEAMS:

Our company includes dancers ages 5–18, divided into four age categories: Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior. Within each age group, we offer multiple team levels to best suit dancers of varying abilities and experience. Placement is determined during auditions based on technique, performance, and focus.

SCHEDULE:

  • Mini Company meets twice per week and may also attend any open classes on our schedule (included in tuition).

  • Junior, Teen, and Senior Companies train 4–5 times per week, totaling 6–8 hours of weekly training. Their schedule includes technique, style, and rehearsals for their competition routines. They can take any open classes they’d like as part of their tuition.

STYLES:

All company dancers train in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and ballet. Tap is also available as an optional style for those interested.

COMPETITIONS:

Each season, our dancers attend four regional competitions, typically held in the Bay Area (San Jose or San Francisco). We also attend a National competition each summer. Past locations have included Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, and San Diego.
