



Studio650 Company Auditions 2026-2027
Thank you for your interest in our Studio650 Company. To register for auditions, please follow the steps below. All audition materials should be completed by May 1st, 2026.
Audition tips and info:

Know the Location: 440 Kipling Street, Palo Alto. Right off University Ave, our Kipling location is perfect for after-audition treats like Somi Somi or Joe and the Juice!

Age Category: Please audition in your age category as of January 1st, 2027. Yes, 2027!

2 Days of Auditions: Dancers are required to attend both days of auditions. On the first day, they will learn multiple routines, which they should practice at home in preparation for the evaluation on the second day. Dancers aged 5-6 will only have one day of auditions.

Parents: The audition is closed to all observers, and parents are not permitted to watch. Thank you for understanding.

New to Studio650?: If you are a new dancer at Studio650, your parent must come into the studio to sign the liability waiver.

Arrive Early: Dancers aged 15+ should arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to warm up. Dancers under 14 should arrive 5-10 minutes early for sign-in, as we will lead their warm up.

Dress to Impress: Wear your favorite dance outfit! Anything that makes you feel confident and that you can dance in.

Skills List: Please click here to review the list of suggested skills for each team.

Preparation: Dancers do not need to prepare a solo. Please be ready to learn 2-3 fun combos, show us your skills, and try your best!

Mini Company: No dance experience required.

Hair: Hair should be neatly pulled away from your face in a ponytail or bun.

Shoes: Bring any/all dance shoes that you have and a pair of tennis shoes. If you don't have any shoes, barefoot is fine.

Hydrate: Please bring a water bottle. We have a water fountain on-site in case you need to refill or if you forget your water bottle at home.

Meet New Friends: Smile and say hi to someone new at auditions!

Have Fun and Try Your Best: It's okay to feel nervous, but remember, everyone is rooting for you. Enjoy the moment!
